If you turn in some information in to your boss as a reply to a meeting, and you put it in a sealed envelope, does the company have the right to open it, if you intend on it being put in your personnel file.

You want something put in your personnel file but you don't want members of management to see it??? Sorry but it doesn't work that way. Anything you give your boss is company property. They can do anything with it they like.
