What is the name of your state? Virginia

I am going for a job that will get me a Secret Security Clearance. In 1998 I have an assault charge, a misdemeanor that I did 2 years, with 2 years of probation and 16 weeks of couseling. Also, in 1999 I declared bankruptcy but ever since I have not gotten into any trouble or any credit problems. Right now I live in Virginia but all this happened in Maryland while I was 21 years old, which I was dumb and stupid in my actions.

Would this disqualify me for the security clearance? Please help.

Also, let's say I do get the Interim, is it a guarantee that I get the Final Secret Security Clearance approve?
