Husband moved to MD - works for US Park Police in D.C.

Husband took job with US Park Police after completing training at FLETC. Met a woman (also at FLETC at the time) that was willing to have an affair with a married man and decided to leave us (his family - including a yet unborn child) to start a new life with someone he was more "connected" to. Fast forward to now!

We have a home in NJ, he is willing to "go down in flames" as he so eloquently put it, before striking a deal of an equitable distribution of property with me that takes into account his ongoing affair. I'm looking for more than a 50/50 split in order to take care of three children (two under the age of four) on my own. He is currently still contributing towards the household but indicates he will not do so for very long, he has his own life to live.

I mentioned to him that allowing the home to go into foreclosure may affect his security clearance. He seems unmoved by this and indicates he is quite familiar with security clearances and is not in any danger of losing his over a foreclosure.

What weight does a possible foreclusure bear on his clearance in any? Thanks!
