I live in Texas.
I have a friend who wants to marry a Russian girl. He
went to visit her about a month and half ago. They hit
it off very well, and want to marry. From what he has
been told it will take about six months to get her here.
On TV news recently they had a report on "illegals" being allowed to get marry
to American citizens and stay in the country. It seems unfair that my friend has to wait, but these people who are in this country illegally are rewarded with the right to stay in the United States. My question is why is it taking so long for my friend?
