After a drug raid at our home the judge issued a seizure order on all of our property. Many issues are in question on their invasion of our home. I would like to
know if it is legal for the county sheriffs department to take inmates from the jail to
our home to take part in the seizing of our
personal property. They were involved in
sorting, boxing, and loading our personal items. These inmates were arrested on various charges including theft, and possession of drugs. This does not seem right.

Many communities put their low risk inmates to work on various projects. The one in question does not raise any red flags for me. I am assuming that they were supervised. Of course if anything of yours turns up missing, you will claim it was either the police or the inmates that took the property.
