California City Government, unclassified, non-civil service employee. After eating my lunch at my desk during my lunch break for over 3 years, along with almost all my coworkers being allowed to do the same, I am the only employee now being told I can no longer do this. Also, I called my supervisor this morning to say I'd be an hour or two late because my cat was sick and I needed to take him to the vet. I returned to work, about 1 1/2 hrs. late and my supervisor asked me for a receipt showing I really was at the vets. No one else has ever been asked to prove their need for expected time off! Help, I'm being singled out and treated unfairly!
