What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida

2 daughters, mortgage free jointly own a home in FL. One has moved to GA and wants to sell the FL property to buy in GA. The FL daughter does not want to sell in this down market and wants to continue renting the home while sharing the expenses and profits with her sister. GA daughter is threatening to sue her sister forcing sale of this property and further threatening not to place her name on any rental contract. FL daughter is not in the position, nor desires to buy out the GA daughter. Can GA daughter prevent the home from being rented and force its sale? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

The FL daughter does not want to sell in this down market ...
FL daughter should ask herself what she knows about the future of the real estate market that other market participants don't know.

I admit to being subject to correction, but FL daughter can probably enter into a rental. One would hope that she would be honest with the renter by disclosing that ownership might change after GA daughter files a lawsuit for partition - a process that will make both daughters losers.
