PA resident) Married, 2 kids, in the process of separation/divorce. Seeking legal advice our financial responsibility about a house just purchased 1 yr ago.
Option 1: Sell it
Option 2: Refinance if qualified, to change name on mortgage.
Can we sell the house when it has only been 1 yr since we purchased it. I was under the impression that we had to be living in the house for at least five years before we could sell it. Is it very costly to sell a house? Please explain.
