Just for the record, there will be nothing to stop you from contacting the new owner when there is one, and asking if you can continue to rent land from him or her.
It sounds like the current owner is terminating their rental agreement prior to selling the land.

if we are unable to sell or move ourselves do we get charged for leaving it here?
Quite possibly. Mobile homes are expensive to move and the process to take title to an abandoned mobile home can be a bit costly.

To clarify, it's five private lots each next to one another at a dead end road. There are three mobiles homes in place that are to old to move. Also without occupants
Are all 5 lots owned by the same owner and up for sale? If not, then what's going on with them is irrelevant.

My suggestion is that you keep an eye out for prospective purchasers who come to view the property and go talk to them about their intentions regarding your mobile home and maybe you can work something out.
