Is it legal to sell a hyperlink to a free electronic product with out the consent of the creator of the product or website? I will not be taking credit for the product or website linked to, just advertising the link for a price. Also will not use any form of tricky wording or small print.

I have not yet asked yet. Im assuming if he said it was ok, it be legal. Im curious about if they say no or if i dont ask at all.

edit: or what if i host the program on my own site, with out the consent of the creator?
