i am in ohio. my parents purchase property approx 20 years ago both names are on the deed. my parents divorced he remarried and my father now passed away. my mother wants to sell the land. my father did not have a will, since there are 4 siblings and he has an ex-wife does part of the land go to the siblings and ex-wife. Can my mother sell the property . There was no mention in the divorce who gets the property.

How was title held ie. TE or TC? If Tenants by the entirety mother owns it all. If Tenants in Common, the property is subject to Probate Court jurisdiction and the Court will decide how father's share will be split up among the mother, siblings and ex-wife.
