What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Michigan

Are there any laws against the ads one sells on his or her website? If for instance you sell an ad to a site which rips people off, or is a scam itself, are you as a site owner legally responsible?

I am talking beyond small claims personal lawsuits. I mean federal law.

Actually, there's probably not even a civil claim against the hosting website, let alone some illusory federal law.
