My soon to be ex-husband goes to trial starting tomorrow. He is a former sheriff's officer and this will be his first offense, non-dangerous felony charge. he has turned down all plea bargains and took the case to trial. Is there a chance if found guilty he could still be sentenced to probation or would he maybe get jail/prison time since he turned down probation in the plea agreement?
