Commonwealth of VA. I gave my husband a separation agreement to sign March 2000,I never saw it again until November 2000,when he started dating this girl at the same Navy command as him, he had altered it and added stuff I had not agreed to, and then he signed it. What can I do with this? Is there some law against altering the separation agreement after I had signed it? I'm sure that he did this to make the command think him & I are legally separated so he can continue living with this girl from his command. He bought her a $400 bracelet and they bought a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix-that has both of their names on it. Guess what! I want HALF! We are not legally separated and I will contest, then I will bring in my witness of the adultery that my husband committed! What can I do about the altered separation agreement?? It is void, isn't it??

It sound to me: you don't have an attorney. I would advise you to hire an attorney. You may want to inform his CO about your situation.

I'm not an attorney: just given you advice.
