i filed a claim to repair my fence that was damaged in a wind storm i was told that they would deduct half the cost of repair due to the fence seperating my neighbor and myself that half was neighbor resonsibility. the problem is by law in my state i have to have a fence do to me having a pool and my neighbor does not i have a an endorsement in my coverage (building ordenince and law coverage) that states that they will pay any additional cost to coverd seperate structure to conform to the law and any ordenince can they deduct half the cost to repair if my neighbor is not required to have the fence and i am?
