I am seperated from my husband, we live in Wa state and he is filing bankruptcy, we maintained a community bank account, but he had seperated credit card bills, as did I. The one thing that was in both of our names is a truck and he is reaffirming that. Can I be held responsible for anything he files bankruptcy on? Also, even though we have been seperated for 3 months, I have never taken my name off the checking account, although I don't use it anymore. Please advise. I am sure I will end up having to file as well, but I am trying to prevent that as much as possible.
Thanks
