seperated & locked out

wife & i seperated on feb 23 when she left w/ the kids. no contact for 4 days. she asked me if i would move out of the house so the kids could go to school & have something normal at the time. i did move out to help my kids out. she then changed the locks & reprogramed our home alarm. now she will not allow me access to our home. the problem is that all of my paychecks are direct deposited into a mutual accout. i have made the vast majority of the income in this relationship & now see is expecting me to continue to pay the bills. now i will not neglect my children & will continue to make sure the bills are paid in case we can work this out. does anybody know my legal options at this point.i would like to change where my paycheck is deposited. i live in minnesota. thanks for any help

If you have a direct deposit, you need to go see the accounting department at your work about changing it. I would recommend calculating child support based on the guidelines now. Send your wife a formal letter explaining that you are paying child support as if it was court ordered. (Make sure that it is certified, return receipt requested.) Keep careful track of how much you pay her and get canceled checks etc.
