Separation

My husband and I are constantly fighting. It's seems as though we are strangers all of a sudden. Eventhough I love him with all my heart, I am considering a seperation.....I have no idea if this is the right thing to do, but I don't know what else to do?????

What I would like to know is what would the procedures be in Rhode Island to get a legal seperation and would we need a Lawyer?

My response:

What other avenues have you two explored to help yourselves? For example, have you sought marital counseling? Legal Separation and Divorce are drastic measures; therefore, you should exhaust all other remedies, short of litigation.
