What is the name of your state? florida

before vacationing with family and friends, i had asked a shipping company to hold my shipments. all was fine with the customer service department, and my shipments were held until today.

well, my parcel arrives with an official internal memo with a little ps: at the bottom,

writing that i must be out of town at a swinging convention!

in handwriting at the bottom of this memo! I am utterly disgusted and totally distraught and this has caused a serious argument between my husband and I.

I can't not believe that an official company not only wrote that about me, but also delivered it to me on my package! This is not a joke. I have left the note untouched on my package. and i am totally distressed but I don't know how to approach the company or what to do.. do i have a case?

You certainly have good reason to call the shipping company and complaint.

But as far as any kind of legal case, no. For one thing, no false statement has been broadcast to an audience, and you have suffered no damages as the law sees damages.
