What is the name of your state? ca, but case in nv

Can anyone out there tell me if I do a legal notice in a paper, can it be in ANY newspaper in the area in NV or the main one.

My response:

While you didn't mention it, I presume what you mean by "publication" is "publication of Summons."

In order to publish the Summons, you need to obtain an order from the court based upon your declaration that your "reasonable" efforts to locate the Defendant have failed, and that the only way to afford the Defendant his Constitutional Right to "notice" of the lawsuit is to publish the Summons.

The court clerk will inform you, when you ask, which newspaper is approved by the courts for publication. Additionally, you must publish in a newspaper nearest to the Defendant's last known address.
