What is the name of your state? Ohio

My fiance is in the process of serving alot of time. He was convicted in 1997 for 4 different counts of rape, 1 felionous assault, 1 drug trafficking, and 1 robbery. When the judge sentenced him he gave him seperate sentences for each count. Total minimiums and maximiums his sentence is 90 to 155 years because the judge said he had to serve them consecutively. He recently found out that the judge has since passed on and he wanted to apply for a modification to his sentence to run them concurrent. He was told the State of Ohio doesn't do modification anymore. Is this true? Also is there anything called inhumane sentencing? I mean really who could serve all that time in there life. One last question is I want to know if I can get a hold of a copy of the court case. He told me there was no evidence of the rape but because he admitted he beat the female involved up the judge slapped him with the rape charges also.

I'm sorry, I forgot to answer your question,"One last question is I want to know if I can get a hold of a copy of the court case." Yes, you can obtain a copy of the transcripts of the trial at your cost which will be considerable, if he hired an attorney, they can obtain, discovery. If your finace thinks they need more evidence, "He told me there was no evidence of the rape but because he admitted he beat the female involved up the judge slapped him with the rape charges also." remind him, Scott Peterson got convicted without any evidence or admissions. Admissions ARE evidence, the judge can amend the charges based upon admissions.

My original advice remains the same, find another man, this man is abusing you as well. Criminals of this sort are very charming, deceptive and suductive, he only cares about himself, not you or anyone else. He is using you and you have no future if you stay connected to him.

You may have meant, Dopey like in the 7 dwarfs, but really you are not using your brain. Is he the father of your child?

Look its only four counts of violent rape while on PCP and then throw in a 16 oz can of whoop ass on a defenseless and scared femal victim, but hey ya love'em right!
