settlement on a judgement

Is it possible to still make a settlement on old debt if there is a judgement on it? I had called the collectors and they said they can not settle because there is a court officer involved. Is there anyway around that?

No. If you want to attempt to settle, you're going to have to get in touch with the attorney who sued you. Make sure you get everything in writing.
