I work with de-institutionalized mental patients in the state of Tennessee.
A temp was hired to work in one of the group homes with a female client. There was an allegation of sexual abuse.
Suddenly, all regular male employees were banned from working with female patients in the group homes and had to leave for other positions. I had scheduled some o.t. shifts in one of these homes but was prohibited from working.
Additionally, if a position opens in one of these homes, all males are prohibited from applying. Conversely, female employees can work with either male or female patients.
It's as if all males have been branded as potential sexual predators or molestors.
My company receives federal funding.
