What is the name of your state? LA
A friend was convicted as a sex offender He was 17 she was 13, per his parole he is to stay away from child oriented places, school, parks..etc... which is common for sex offences.
After he is done with parole, his parole officer said that he could petition the court for permission to attend school functions and meetings for his own children.
In your experience, as I know you cant tell what a judge will do in any given case, have you seen this granted?
FYI, he has attended all the classes he is required to attend, current on parole fees, current on his monthly parole forms, and has never failed a Urine test.
