Residential Mail Delivery:
There are 2 buildings with 2 units each in which are rented out on the same property where the owner lives. We have a physical address which would be the same as the landlords, no unit a, b or otherwise are assigned to either building or units. None of the tentants are allowed to receive mail to the address and are required to rent a box off the property. One tentant said this is illegal that either the landlord needed to add the unit a b c etc and provide residental mail delivery or pay the off sit box rental each month. Is this true?
Shared Utilities:
Upon moving in we were told that the gas and elec was due on the 15th of each month and is divided up by number of people occupying each unit. We moved in the 1st of December 2006 and the tenant renting the other unit in the building mine is in moved the middle of December. Neither of us have received a bill or dollar amount for the gas or electric since we occupied the units. Now the landlord is responsible for providing us with a copy of the utility bill and how she calculated each units charges and its her responsibility to give us these in a sufficent time to be paid by the required 15th of each month written in the lease. Now since she has not, can she say when she pulls her head out of where ever it is give the tentants a bill for 2 or 3 or evan 4 months or is there a time limit on which she is required to bill us for and we are responsibile in paying?
