What is the name of your state? Michigan

I had a one night stand and the girl got pregnant. We agreed to terminate the pregnancy and I gave her $300 cash for her to follow through with the termination. Well she decided on her own that she was going to keep the baby and did not consult with me about this.

Baby is now 6 weeks old and she has been calling me and threatoning to take me to court for child support. She calls me about 10-15 times a day now and I dont know what to do?

I would say that paternity needs to be established first.

If it is proveN that you are the father, she can file for child support and THEN YOU HAVE TO START PAYING!

Right, but we agreed to terminate and then she decided not to. That was her decision.
Yes, but the courts wont care. It doesnt matter if its not fair, they wont give a ****. Hey, look on the bright side...maybe its not your kid.

Yes, that's true. It's also her legal right. Right to choose, remember? Your right to choose was before conception.

Now your legal obligation is to pay support, if you are determined to be the father. If you are the dad, your next right is to know your child or not (be a dad or a donor). Your choice.

yeah not totally sure of that either, she was with another person around that same time.
Then take the DNA test and hope you are the lucky one who gets out of paying support.

Promises are broken all the time (they don't mean squat), and since it is her body, it was her right to make any decision she wanted.

Get a paternity test done, and is you are the father, get involved in your kid's life. The kid deserves two parents.

These people....***Sigh***

No condoms...no pills....The excuses....Heard it all before..

Get ready to be "Daddy"!!!

You may be able to recover the money paid in 'good faith' towards an abortion....But you should let it it go. As it would go toward child support. (If you are found to be the Dad).

I would say formula, baby clothes and diapers in the first 6 weeks of life would suck $300 up pretty fast good luck, but I would kiss that money goodbye;)
I concur. He gave her cash. I think the $300 is the least of his worries.
