Ex-landlord sued me for damages to property, He has connections, so he won. I didn't have the money to appeal.
I started paying him one dollar a month , all I could afford. Now he got a lawyer and they are doing a Sheriffs Sale on all my belongings. Half the stuff in my house my sister in law lent to me including this computer, she has all the receipts for the puchase of this. She wants it back and the Sheriff told me nothing leaves this house until they come and get it. What can I do? Also some of the furniture I still owe on. Can they take my childrens beds?
Can they take my stove and refrig? Please help me. I'm from Pa.

This is a good example of what can happen when you damage property that you were supposed to take care of.

Paying one dollar a month is an arrogance that you cannot expect a judge to allow you to get away with. Coincidently, half the stuff in your house seems to belong to someone else and is merely "loaned" to you.

I have no idea what limits there are on what the Sheriff can take, but you seem to be constantly a victim. Don't be so sure that the landlord won his judgement because he had connections.
