What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Nevada? Delaware? I guess wherever the company is located or something

Is it legal for random people from a company to promote the company products as if they were unaffiliated with the company? Like if they conspired to (or acted together to) make you believe that a product was good? How would you prove something like this? Are there only some jurisdictions where I could sue? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
