from georgia: my daughter just left an physically abusive husband. Only married 8 months. She was a housewife with a home-based business which hadn't really gotten off the ground. the house was his before they married. she had not contributed very much income into the marriage. is she entitled to anything - compensatory damages for the abuse or any kind of settlement? or does she have limited rights because of her in-home, non-income-producing status? thank you. jdf
