What is the name of your state?
There is a 6-ft fence in our backyard constructed in early '80.
We recently found we should have gotten a permit for that. However, this 6-ft. fence with about 55 ft. in the backyard was constructed a long time ago when Permit and such is very lenient. Practically, back then, '80 most of our neighbors did NOT get a permit for a 6-ft fence in their backyard.
However, County- Rules and Regulation set for Home-owers getting strict, we're considering to get a permit for our old 6-ft. fence. On the otherhand, due to its age, we also planning to get new and fancy fence for its replacement within a couple of years.
Wonder whether we should get a permit for our old 6-ft. fence in our backyard right now, ... or should we wait a permit for old fence until its replacement, fancy fence for old 6-fence?
Thanks for any imputs on this regard.
