What is the name of your state? Colorado

A couple of months ago I sold a game account (basicly the user name and password to play the account I had built up over the years, since I didn't want to play anymore) to someone, and just recently he says that someone has changed the password, sort of taking over the account. Now the only way I could do this is to "recall" the account, which means I give them information and say I lost my password or something, and they make me a new password. I didn't do this, and I don't think that it is even possible, because the game maker says(It's a pay per month game):

"This information will assist in resolving ownership of the account. Please keep in mind that we cannot recall the account to you if the credit card information has been changed. In situations where a change of ownership has taken place, the account will be permanently banned."

Change of credit card happened once when I moved, I had to get a new card because my bank was no longer in my area (debit card), and then again when I sold him the account (I made sure he changed it over).

Also, in the game's Terms of Service it states:

"Your membership or subscription is personal to you and you may not transfer or make available your account name and password to others."

I hear of this (him losing access to the account) and tell him i'm going to TRY to get the account back for him, but I didn't have time before I went on vacation in a different state. While I was gone it seems he had the account banned. So now I can't ever get the account back for him no matter what, and he says I have to pay him back the money (a little under 250 I believe it was) or he will sew me.

I won't give him back his money because he could either:

1. Be bored with the game and just want his money back and be making up all this
2. He could have given out his password to people, or had it stolen, but both are still on HIS side and would not be my fault.

No one has ever threatened to sew me, so i'm a bit shaken up...

Thanks again.

Sue, sorry =P

Well he played the game before so he knows that you're not aloud to sell or buy accounts...

Also this was all done on aol IM not on ebay or anything, and I never signed anything nor did he

The only record would be like a western union recepit and AOL IM screenshots or something i'd think.

Why does this sound very familiar to me?

Is the game from Blizzard entertainment by any chance? Is this that famous
world of warcraft game we all talked about before the holidays??
