Should I file for a Legal seperation?

Hi,
My name is Stephen Zalar.I am from the state of Pa. My wife just recently walked out on me and said she just needed some time to herself. We also have an 11 month old baby whom I adore. I just found out that she left me for another man. She is with him all the time, works with him also. When I have my son and she comes to pick him up the man is with her. I need to know if I need to file for a legal seperation so I will not be liable for any bills that she could run up in my name or can I put an ad in the newspaper saying that I am not responsible for any bills from this date on. I've decided I'm going to let her file for the divorce if she wants one. Also if she makes more money than me will I have to pay her allimony? I know I will have to pay child support for my son and thats fine.
Thank You

My response:

We'd like to assist you; however, you apparently didn't see that red writing up at the top of the page. Without your State name, or the name of the State where the problem happened, it would be difficult to assist you. Laws are different everywhere.

Thank you for your cooperation, and we look forward to you editing your post.
