just curious, my auto claim is going into mediation soon and I wanted to know how long it takes to get the settlement check from the insurance company once everything is settled??? Do they cut a check right away or do they have a certain amount of time to comply??
oh and I'm in Florida...
thanks for the help!

I cannot speak for your state but it can generally depend on the company. I have seen where it takes a number of weeks and i have seen where it as short as a few days. There generally would be no reason if a settlement is reached at mediation that a condition of the settlement be that payment be received within a specified time.
