What is the name of your state? Georgia
1) Who can I go to for help determining in what a deceased parent has stated in a will for living heirs? One of the siblings has the deceased parent's will and does want to disclose the inheritance of the will to entire family. Please advise.

2) Same sibling mentioned above has deceased parent's insurance policies. Is there a way to find out if there were multiple insurance policies and who the beneficiaries are? Please advise.

Normally the will is filed at the county courthouse probate court within 30 days after the death. Check at the courthouse to see if the will has been filed--if it has been, you can get a copy there.

If you think the person who has the will is deliberately withholding it and does not intend to file it for probate, then hire your own attorney to get probate open so that your attorney can ask judge to ask whoever has the will to produce it for court.

Right now it just looks like they are withholding it out of spite, and hopefully they will be submitting it to court very soon.

Only the beneficiaries of the policies have the right to be informed about the monies they are due.
