i paid $20 for a dog from our county pound. we took it to the vet to have it checked out. the vet said it had worms and would cost $300 to treat the dog. he then gave us $120 bill. not able to afford the dog's treatment, we returned it to the pound. the employee told us that all the employees of the pound were aware that this dog had worms and acted surprised we weren't pre-informed. i feel the pound should pay $140 for all our expenses because they had prior info and didn't disclose it. it would have saved us a lot of $$. do you think i'd win the case in small claims court?
