My husband is on Salary, recently he was sick, and his boss said he would dock him for the two days plus a holiday that he missed work on. Isn't there something that says that you have to offer sick days or personal days in the state of Florida?? His boss really hates when people call off work, even for the most serious of reasons. What should we do?

Sorry that I don't have the answer for you. I, as well as all but one or two attorneys who regularly answer these posts are only licensed in the state of California. You will have to ask an employment law attorney near you about your state's laws regarding sick leave, and exempt employees. You can find one near you at attorneypages.com
