I live in the state of florida. I have a spouse who is addicted to prescription drugs for most of her life. recently it's worse. she has not worked or contibuted to the household in any manner whatsoever in the last ten years. i would like to get out of this situation without having too many expenses. she cannot afford to live in the house or support herself. what do the laws in florida say for this kind of situation. she knows i want out and has agreed. will i be required to pay alimony? can I send her to live with her sister if she'll take her?
