we got life insurance policy from AIG at the beginning of this year.Recently,We just found that the policy we received has 2 pages with the agent's signatures that are different than the original pages with his signatures we received, signed and mailed back.(one of those 2 pages is policy acceptance and amendment of application.another is policyowner acknowledgement of policy dilivery or producer's certification of mailing of policy to the policyowner).in those 2 pages, each page has his signature. his signature in one of those 2 pages is the copy of the original page with his signature we received ,signed and mailed back , his signature in another page is an original signature ,but not the copy of the another original page with his signature we received, signed and mailed back. those 2 pages in the policy required our signatures.
why didnt they use the copies of the 2 original pages with both his and our signatures? could the signatures be involved in any problem in future?
another thing is that the issue date of the policy is Jan.5.2009. the date in those 2 pages that the agent put on is Jan.9.2009.Does it make any sense?
thanks a lot!!!
