I recently had my home sided and new windows installed. They have not finished the job, unforunately they are paid in full. I have a contract with a lifetime guarantee on workmanship and on the products used. Over the last month I have tried to get a hold of the contractor, only once did he answer the phone. He stated that he would send a different subcontractor out to finish the house and clean up the trash. No one has come, they do not answer the phone (when I call from home, must have caller ID) and have not picked up a certified letter sent requesting completion of the job. I also have a window with a leak in the seal. Is this a breach of contract? If so, what do I do now? I paid $18,000, can I get it back, some or all of it? I also had a stress related viral infection spurred by this drama, can I recieve damages, medical and lost wages? Thanks for any information.

ps I went to an attorney about this, he told me to have my husband take care of it, aaaaarrrrgh!
