I have worked for the same company for 25+ years this is a very established brand of food establishment. I started as most do in high school.I worked my way through management positionsto the multi-unit position over seeing upwards of eight locations and over 200 employees and managers. My job was to develope train and retain personnel to impact overall operations.I had an opportunity to open my own buisness and did so with an uncle. It was a great opportunity that did not work out as planned. The buisness as most do
shut down after 1 year do to poor location.I tell you all of this to set the stage for what is to come. I immediately called my former employer and asked if they were hiring and would he have a position for me. With out any hesitation the answer was yes and he started me @ the high end of salary in that position. He was going off of past performance as well as character.I went to work for a past peer that was a female. She has never put any personal time in with me or the location directly. As of yesterday I was fired by her with no formal documentaion and no reasonable plan to get it fixed. She seemed to be intiumidated by my expierence as well as my ability to move quickly in a quick paced enviornment. (the problem) She has openly said in a meetting that I have ADD which is not true and has never been hinted before. She has personally told me that no one else wants to work with me. The only 2 thiungs that I brought with me were Integrity and Honesty I leaving with both, But she has damaged my status with not only the company but with the industry buy terminating me with no real reason that is consistent in the industry or company. My employment lasted 4months in this position. My fellow employees have noticed it as well and have said to me that they don't understand why she is acting this way but they enjoy working with me. Is there a case for defamation or slander. there is much more but I feel that this is to long already.

Was ADD the specific reason? Were you always on time and completed tasks?
Is there somthing else happening?

There have been no documentations @ all she has come in and judged the store very harshly and that is her job to judge . But fairly is the issue . She has avoided personal contact and her boss has specifically told me that he feels that she may be intimidated by me. She has held the store to an unfair standard in comparision to her other stores in her area. My issue lies in her attacjk of me personally not her judgement of the store. Being that I held her position for many years and chose to take an opportunity on my own. I feel that she has created an oppinion of me in the company that is not waranted. No one else has had the interaction with me. So how would they have a negative opinion unless she gave it to them?
