IF a 8 year old accuses someone of molesting her,
the parents go to the police, the DA believes her,
but there is not enough evidence to arrest or
prosecute, can the accused sue the parents for
slander if the parents tell (warn) people about
this man?

HOW are the parents 'warning' others?

the parents are not saying or
warning anybody
this guy teaches sunday school to small
children, it is not right that the parents
of those children don't have a clue
that their child could be his next victim,
could the parents be sued for slander
if they inform the church of what he
was accused of?

I haven't a clue what you are talking about.

IF you are asking if you should warn parents about a child molester, the answer is YES!

SJ, I think she is asking if the parents DO warn people that the Sunday School teacher has been accused of molestation, can the teacher sue them for slander.

thank for the replies
it comes down to if he sues
then the parents can counter-sue
and there is nothing criminal about the truth
so what is there to lose?
