a neighbor of mine in Georgia(whom I never met)of three years called the police on June 11. She said my son(15yrs old)was causing damage to her property but the real reason that day is becuase he and her were calling each other names. She's never talked to me about it and the officer couldn't identify any damages. She had a video tape from May (the month before). the officer says it shows my son and another kid running through the yard but couldn't tell me what was damaged. He said he could throw him in jail. I have been worried because it seemed malicious and vindictive that she could use a tape from a previous time to get him in trouble.

next, the same neighbors house was broken in to on or around June 20th. my son was in Connecticut when this occured but the neighbor is telling other neighbors that he did it or had something to do with it. this is causing me much stress and I am sure it will cause other neighbors not to trust him. Basically it is giving him a bad reputation. He doesn't have any criminal history and doesn't deserve someone slandering his name especially when he is innocent. I have letters from other neighbors stating what they were told and letters from neighbors stating that my son has never caused them a problem. Can I sue this woman?

first tell your kid to stay away from her property. and then teach him how to show some respect to others which it is clear he hasnt completely learned yet. geeeeeeeez, open your eyes. talk to the neighbor like an intelligent adult and figure out the truth before blindly defending the kid. keep your eyes open. if you find out the neighbor is nuts, oh well, maybe you have some recourse. but at least get involved and find out the truth from those involved. soooooooooooo many little angels have turned out to be devils in disguise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!no offense.
