We have been having serious problems with the people who live in the unit above us. The woman in the couple got angry one day and after throwing a tantrum in her unit right above us my boyfriend opened the door and asked her what the problem was and if everything was alright. She responded by yelling, "F*** you you f****** tweaker!!!". Her husband has known our landlord for 28 years and after this incident we complained about her behavior and problems with the electricity in the building and were served with a 30-day notice to vacate the premises. Can we sue her for slander and/or defamation of character? You'll be finding questions about this situation in other areas of this forum. Thank you!
