What is the name of your state? I uncovered some questionable and potentially illegal activity being conducted by a large well known insurance company and several agents. Policyholders have filed a lawsuit. I am not a plaintiff in the suit but a witness. The Attorney representing this large insurance company made statements in a newspaper about me that are false. The comments to me are libel/ slanderous and false. The comments were definitely ment to hurt my business and reputation in the community. Can the Attorney as well as the Insurance Company that he (she) is representing be sued for libel/Slander and for making false statements. Also, this Attorney knows that the comments are false.

Several newspapers got wind of the lawsuit and printed articles in the newspaper. I refused to comment but the Attorney representing this large insurance company made statements in a newspaper about me that are false. The comments to me are libel/ slanderous and false. Can an attorney be reprimanded by the Bar Association for make libel/false and Slander statements. Anyone who has copies of all statements and depositions know that the statement made in the newspaper is false.
