I work in a hospital and a physcian that I work with gets irratated very easily and loves to take it out on me. I am not sure why. On this particular day, I was working with him, two other co-workers and a patient who was awake and alert. As we were doing the case the physician got very irrate and began to complain about my performance. Saying that I was doing absolutely nothing. I can assure you I was doing my job and doing it well.
His specific statement was " How can the nurse get equipment and drugs while the monitor tech just sits there doing nothing?"
I was the monitor tech. Is this slander? This particular physician seems to always ride the line in regards to verbal and sexual harrasement. I am getting tired of it all. I would appreciate a relpy. Thanks
