What is the name of your state? Texas

I don't know if this is considered slander but here it goes... Im in high school and dating this guy for over a year. Well recently I got into a fight with some of my friends and they have been spreading lies about me. They are telling everyone that I slept with my boyfriend several times and that I am a ****. They are telling everyone including my boyfriends cousin this and they are persenting it as a fact. They even had the audacity to come up to me and tell me that I'm lieing about it and that I have slept with him several times. This of course is not true but they are telling mine and my boyfriends friends and family members that it is. My family is even believing these lies. Also, none of my friends will talk to me now because they think what they are saying is true. I have never slept with anyone and this guy is acctually my first real boyfriend but we havn't done anything like that ever. They have ruined my reputation with all my other friends and now family members. I would really like to know if this qualifies as slander, and what can I do about this legally if it is. Thank you for your time... please get back to me soon... Thank you again.

What losses are you suffering due to this? To be called a **** is pretty bad but if you had been called a %$#@ or even worse, a &^%^% @####, you could sue their pants off.
