Someone works for the public sector and is told their position is being terminated due to lack of funding. They are being given several weeks notice, and have been advised that they will be given a different contract under the same company (using other funds), to keep their keys and so forth.
Now, their supervisor is calling others within the company and telling these other employees that the person was "fired" and to remove them from all accounts, effective immediately, even though the person is still working there. He has also told the person that they are being fired because "higher ups" don't like them, and so forth.
Any legal routes to take??
