I just talked to a friend that lost her kids because she was a bad mother to the grandparents. I had babysat her kids for three weeks straight and saw no reason that her parents should have took the kids away. But a nosey neighbor that is a religious nut thought that because this girl wasnt like her that she couldnt be a good parent. But that isnt what has me going here. I basically watched these two kids for 3 weeks feeding them, giving them baths and basically taking care of all their needs. Her parents only came over once in the time i was taking care of them. I woke the youngest up who is almost 3 from his nap and changed his diaper since he'd been asleep it needed changing. Also got him ready to go over to her house. Now they say that I abused him by never changing his diaper. I'm not fully sure what else they think I supposedly did but if a child never got his diaper changed he would have a rash. I personally dont care if a child just got a diaper changed If they did "thier" business you change it. I dont know how but they have it in their head that i neglected the child. What can I do because I cant stand the thought of abusers and the fact that someone said i did makes me sick.

You watched someone else's kids for three weeks straight, and you think that the grandparents shouldn't have taken the kids away from the mom? Where was the mom that you had her kids for 3 weeks straight? Apparently, she wasn't taking care of her kids, so the grandparents stepped in.

What can you do about the grandparents thinking that you abused the child? Nothing. I'd be glad that they took over the responsbilies of watching the kids.
