What is the name of your state (WV.)?

I sold 3 tiny poodle puppies to a woman in Alaska online, she asked me if I would hold them for her until she paid them off, well I made a mistake & said yes. It took her five months to pay them off, so soon as she did I shipped them to her, I didn't have any idea she was going to resell them, but soon as she received them that's what she did. She told me they were going to be her pets or that she may breed them, I told her that they may be too small to breed. Firt she told me she want 2 red females and a phantom male puppy, later she tried to change to black, well in the mean time I took the black puppy to the vet, and it had a health problem, so I sent her the 2 red females that she has originally told me she wanted. I had held her, turning down buyers for her anyway. Well, she got made when she tried to sell them she couldn't get what she wanted for them and is trying to make me pay her the difference, and when I wouldn't she wrote me, threatened me with slander, plus she has written all kinds of negative things all over the internet about me, including where i advertize them, and has told a lot of lies. Is there anyway I can get her to stop doing this? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

If you met all of the conditions of your agreement with the woman in Alaska (delivering to her the two female puppies and one male puppy held for her until receipt of the final payment due), and the puppies sent to the woman in Alaska were exactly as described in your online advertisement (appearance-wise, health-wise, etc), then whether you have any legal action against the woman that would be worth pursuing depends on what she wrote about you and, if defamatory, how severely it has affected your reputation.

You should contact an attorney in your area, who can review all of the facts and advise you accordingly.
