I live in Arkansas, I recently quit my job because I believe that my boss was stealing from the company (a small business). It keeps bothering me that he is getting by with it. If I write a letter to the owner and tell him about my suspicions, can I be sued if it turns out that I was wrong? In my letter, I specifically state that it is my opinion. After I quit my job, he started harassing my mother who also works there. And today he gave a lame excuse for firing her. Is there anything she can do about losing her job?
